Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2001 with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science Engineering. The college started with an initial intake capacity of 60 seats/year which gradually increased to 120 seats per year.
Department of Computer Science is a center of academic excellence, experiential learning, design thinking and research & development in key segments of Computer Science. The department has smart classrooms, modern well-equipped labs, seminar hall partnered with highly qualified and experienced faculties having expertise in different computer domains.
The department aims at becoming the Centre of Excellence by providing education and consultation of international standards in the field of computer science and thus targets to produce globally competent and self disciplined computer engineers.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in IIMT Engineering College in 2001. The department offers undergraduate program i.e. B.Tech (CS). The program has been carefully and strategically designed to impart industry oriented learning and develop appropriate skills in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.
The department has modern well equipped labs to cater to practical exposure and hands on learning of the students. Labs are upgraded from time to time and students spend generous time in enhancing their programming skills in C, C+, C++, Python, Java, Oracle, Net, Android, .Net, Cloud Computing, Big Data and Internet of Things etc.
