The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program at IIMT Engineering College, Meerut, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, is designed to prepare students for successful careers in the dynamic field of Information Technology. The department is committed to nurturing skilled computer professionals by combining a strong academic foundation with practical learning and industry-oriented training. The three-year undergraduate program, spread across six semesters, equips students with comprehensive knowledge of computer applications, software development, programming, database management, networking, and emerging technologies. The curriculum is carefully structured to meet the evolving needs of the IT industry and provides students with the technical competence and professional skills required in today's digital world.

The mission of the Department of Computer Science is to provide quality learning in computer science at UG level so as to prepare our graduates to compete in the job market and to contribute to the economic, scientific, and social development of the Nation.
The Department will promote excellence in teaching, scholarly activity, creative endeavors, and public service.
The curriculum will be grounded in the fundamental principles of computing and will prepare our students to apply these principles creatively and responsibly with a high degree of professionalism and a clear understanding of ethical and legal issues in computer science.
The Department will utilize available resources to impart state-of-the-art technical knowledge, develop students’ verbal and written communication skills, and instill a desire to pursue lifelong learning.
